En 1982, Metal Blade Records sortait « Metal Massacre », une compilation qui incluait Metallica, Rat et plein d’autres groupe de l’époque. Cette compilation était la première sortie de Metal Blade. La quatorzième édition sortira le 8 avril en format CD, vinyle et digital et contient des titres de groupes de metal actuels.
