MARILLION : réédition deluxe de ‘Clutching At Straws’

Faisant suite à son multi disque de platine ‘Misplaced Childhood, le quintet britannique Marillions dévoile en 1987 le quatrième album studio, ‘Clutching At Straws‘. L’album obtient la seconde place au U.K. charts grâce aux titres ‘Incommunicado‘, ‘Sugar Mice‘, et ‘Warm Wet Circles‘. Considéré par beaucoup comme l’un des plus importants opus du rock neo-progressif, Clutching At Straws est aussi le dernier album avec le chanteur original Fish.

Le 23 novembre prochain, Parlophone rééditera deux versions de ‘Clutching At Straws: Deluxe Edition‘. La première est pack 4-CD + Blu-ray et la seconde un ensemble de 5 LP. Tous les titres seront également disponible sur les plateformes digitales le même jour. Ces deux assortiments s’ouvrent avec une nouvelle version du titre ‘Clutching At Straws‘, qui a été remixé l’année dernière par And Bradfield et Avril Mackintosh, ainsi que l’enregistrement du concert de Marillon à l’Edinburgh Playhouse en décembre 1987 pendant la dernière tournée avec Fish.

Parmi les nombreux autres bonus de ces versions, notez également la présence de 4 démo jusqu’à maintenant inédite : ‘Hotel Hobbies/Warm We Circles‘, ‘Just For The Record‘, ‘Torch Song‘ et ‘Slàinte Mhath‘. Le set Blu-Ray se voit aussi doté d’un documentaire de 60 minutes, dans lequel Mick Wall interview le groupe.
